The application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles is fundamental to engaging and educating a diverse community about social programs in ways they can understand and benefit. The multimodal use of audible, visual, and tactile prompts to convey program information to a broad community of people.

Nothing for me without me. Direct involvement and collaboration with clients and community members are vital. Individual self-determination and self-efficacy are essential in social work practice.

Active engagement and genuine collaboration with diverse constituent communities. We are informed and learn from culturally diverse inputs of ideas and perceptions. The client community will be a reflection of the ethnically and racially diverse Reno community.

The ultimate objective is to promote social justice through equal access to information, goods, and services. No person should be denied access to EdTech resources and social engagement due to geographic isolation or financial impediments.

Curriculum begins with the learner. Learners specify their learning objectives and goals.

People learn differently. Community instruction will be consciously tailored to satisfy the different learning styles of the participants. Multimodal instruction, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, will be implemented.

Community members will be invited to collaborate on the curriculum and the manner of presentation. In the community setting, participants will articulate what subject matter is meaningful to them, and the curriculum will be developed together.

Learners shall evaluate the effectiveness of educational approaches for continuous adaptation and improvement.
